These draw string Pumpkin
and Blossom pouches were designed and knit exclusively for the shop. You
may buy a pouch kit or the pattern to make one for yourself.
The pattern includes
instructions for both Blossom and Pumpkin pouch. Kits include pattern,
beads and fibers to complete either the Blossom or the Pumpkin Pouch.

This handsome bag was knitted with emerald green
Finca perle cotton in a flurry of cables accented with hand painted,
variegated beads harvested from a antique Victorian lamp. The neck strap
sports real emeralds, rubies, amethysts, freshwater pearls and lapis beads.
The fringed fold-over flap sports a Victorian bodice clip that is hand
signed by the artist who cast the piece.

This bead knitted pouch
is big enough to hold a cell phone and have room left over for a lipstick,
credit card, lace edged hankie and keys. It is a reversible pouch with one
side bead knitted in gold lined, crystal seed beads embellished with
recycled rhinestone pendant harvested from a broken garage sale treasure.
The neck strap is an unembellished knitted "I" chord. The reverse side is
bead knitted with a mix of gold lined crystal beads and silver lined red
glass seed beads.
This pouch, like all my work, is my own design. There are 4,000+ size 11/0
Czech glass mix. The pouch itself was knitted, by me. with #8 Finca pearl
cotton on a 000 cable needle. If you wish to make one of your own, the
pattern is available.

This bead knitted pouch
is about the size of a medium sized apple, just big enough to hold a
lipstick, credit card, lace edged hankie and keys. It has a fold over flap
weighted down by one half of an impossibly gaudy pair of rhinestone
earrings.
This pattern, like all my work, is my own design. Hand knit by me, it is a
bell shaped pouch with beaded gussets on both sides of the pouch. There are
3,000+ size 11/0 Czech glass, hot pink, silver lined seed beads. The pouch
itself was knitted with #8 Finca pearl cotton on a 000 cable needle. The
neck strap is crocheted with the same seed beads used in the knitting of the
pouch.

The celery
colored pouch on the right was knitted as a demo for a bead knitting class.
It didn't last out the class before it found a home, but a pattern is
available for it..

This, one-of-a-kind,
bead knitted pouch measures 4.5" wide at it's belled bottom and 3.5" high
including fringed trim. It was knitted from #8, Spanish made Finca pearl
cotton and hematite glass beads from Czechoslovakia. The strap measures 36"
and was crocheted and embellished with more hematite beads and fresh water
pearls.
These pouch designs began as vehicles for collectors of miniature teddy
bears to safely carry their tiny ursine treasures with them when they went
out. Over time, non-collectors have begun to purchase and use them in the
more traditional manner. This one is just large enough to hold a credit card
and a lipstick, a cell phone, tiny teddy or any other small treasure.

This draw string pouch
measures four by ten inches, including beaded fringe at the bottom. It is
bead knitted mustard colored Finca pearl cotton in size #8 with size 11/0
Czech glass seed beads in a vibrant, silver lined teal blue.
The draw sting is two lengths of organza ribbon in teal to match the beads.
It is fringed on the bottom with the same teal seed beads used in the
knitting of the pouch.
This pouch was designed and hand knit by Shelley K. Bossert of Ursa Minor
Miniatures. If you wish to knit a similar pouch for yourself, a pattern for
this piece is available.

This bead knitted pouch
is eight and a half inches wide at the bottom and eight inches high
including decorative bottom border. It has a beaded, drawstring strap and
triangle scalloped and fringed bottom edge. The yarn is a hand spun, hand
dyed, fingering weight, merino wool. The yarn is variegated shades of green
ranging from chartreuse to olive.
